On 10th February Ambassador Aimone di Savoia Aosta held a meeting with Alexander Tkachenko,

, founder of the first children’s hospice in Russia, priest of the Russian Orthodox Church. 

In a warm conversation, parties discussed a wide range of issues, but paid special attention to the charitable activities implemented for children. Ambassador competently addressed the activity run by the Sovereign Order of Malta in Russia, in particular Social Centers in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg. Both sides expressed hope for cooperation and implementation of joint charitable activities.

Meeting was attended by Pyotr Gumenyuk, Head of the Russian Department of the International Foundation “Help the Church in Need”, and Giovanna Parravicini, Counsellor of the Mission of the Order of Malta.
