On June 16, 2021, a meeting was held between the Representative of the Sovereign Order of Malta in the Russian Federation, Aimone di Savoia Aosta, with the Director of the First European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Alexey Paramonov.
The parties discussed bilateral relations, issues on the international agenda, as well as a significant date – the 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of official relations between the Order and Russia, which will take place in 2022. The parties expressed mutual hope for strengthening bilateral humanitarian and cultural interaction.
The meeting was also attended by the Counselor, Giovanna Parravicini, from the side of the Sovereign Order of Malta and the Deputy Director of the First European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Molchanov Sergey.
