Ambassador Aimone di Savoia Aosta presented his Credentials to President Vladimir Putin as the Order of Malta’s Representative to the Russian Federation.

The Presentation of the Credentials ceremony to the President of Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, was held on November 24, 2020, traditionally in the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

Vladimir Putin addressed the diplomatic mission in Moscow, assessing its major trends in international relations. The President indicated that Russian Federation appreciates its relationship with the Sovereign Order of Malta, which is based on unique historical ties and traditions of culture and humanitarian collaboration.

The ceremony took place for the first time since the announcement of the Coronavirus pandemic and took into account of the current epidemiological situation.
